Dale Leon Bumpers (August 12, 1925 – January 1, 2016) was an American lawyer and Democratic politician. He served as the 38th governor of Arkansas from 1971 to 1975 and as a United States senator from 1975 to 1999.
After leaving the Senate he was counsel in the Washington office of Arent Fox LLP, where his clients included Riceland Foods and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He was a member of the Democratic Party.
